•  The material is available in more than one format and with the exception of the videos, can be downloaded. Worksheets are available for download in Microsoft Word or PDF format. One can also download the Power Point presentations without any challenges. 

• Users are able to provide a rating for the material posted, giving the owners insight to what is useful and what is not so useful. 

• A daily update of the most popular materials in the various languages is posted on the website. This assists teachers and students with the sourcing of the material which they may need. 

• The website is free. Users can access the material at absolutely no cost. 

DRAWBACKS

Unfortunately, perfection in life is not always possible and there are some drawbacks to using ISL Collective. These inconveniences include :

• The inability to download interactive videos. One of the website's main goals is to cater to teachers around the globe. Sadly, not all teachers around the globe have Internet access in the classroom and are able to use the videos live. Thus, a teacher wanting to use a video from the ISL Collective website is severely disadvantaged if he/she does not have a strong Internet connection. 

• The amount of material posted to the website can be overwhelming to users. Although the material is filtered by vocabulary themes and grammar topics, there is a need for it to be filtered according to the level of the student.

• The numerous advertisements which appear on the website can be bothersome. Admittedly, these advertisements assist in the funding of the website. However, they can appear too frequently at times and may frustrate the user.
